Colour blocking can sometimes go disastrously wrong. It’s pretty easy when we’re talking all black, I probably do that every other day to be honest cough goth cough. When it’s white you’re risking ruining some beautiful items and when it’s colour, well, you can just end up looking like a gooseberry. Literally. I think layering and using slightly different shades, like in the pictures below, is a great start. Or just do two items to start and then go all the way when you think you’ve cracked it. I’d suggest giving it a try when you know you’re not leaving the house and see how you feel throughout the day. If you start to feel a little stupid, well you can start from scratch. And when you’re confident in it, go out and take some pictures (and let me see!) because I think it’s one of the best looks at the moment.
